It's funny how Life can sometimes be so surreal.
I'm sitting in a hospital emergency room while my dearest and closest friend of over 37 years is having an EKG.
Due to many unforeseen events, I set this project aside until my life settled down. Basically, as I learned from the Introduction in The Law Of Success, I had to remove the disturbing elements and un-evolved minds from my life that were causing disharmony before I could move forward. I didn't learn this is what I had done until I re-read the Introduction this past week.
I have begun the task and great opportunity of devoting one week to every chapter in this book and focusing on applying what's in the lesson to my daily life.
Napoleon Hill writes that just by learning and applying the principles contained in just the Introduction, you could be successful and have a successful sales force beneath you if you're a manager, team leader or small business owner. Just by the Introduction alone- throw away the rest of the book and you've still got the information you need to become wealthy! That's pretty powerful stuff.
That statement stuck in my head like the last 80's song I heard on the Oldies station!
Understanding what a "master mind" really is, the concept makes sense. Through the decades, the term "master mind" has lost its original meaning. It didn't start off as one person being the genius and planner in a group or criminal endeavor. A "master mind" is created when two minds are focusing together on the same theme, the same subject. The combined energy and thoughts of two minds concentrating on the same subject actually create a third mind- a master mind, where new thoughts and ideas flow.
It makes sense. Jesus said "Where two or more are gathered in my name, there will I be also."
My dilemma was how to apply this concept to my endeavors, my writing, etc. I work alone these days. I think and write at odd hours of the day and night, when my illness allows me to be lucid...when my thoughts flow...
Pondering this principle with real intent , I realized that every time I speak with a friend and we're "in sync" with each other, the creativity flows and new thoughts and ideas just come out of nowhere. Now, I know they don't come from out of "nowhere" but the new master mind we've created.
New ideas for blog posting and ezine articles just come into my mind when this happens. My job is to remember it, summarize it as best I can and then write it for you, creating a new reality for you, Dear Reader- from the master mind.
